JonnyJonJon A tour de force album. I keep listening again and again, hearing new things: psychedelic grooviness, heavy guitar solos, wailing organ screeches, subtle bass undertones, tender moments, nostalgic tinges, uneasy breakdowns and layers and layers of storytelling from Moonbeam and the boys. An absolute must listen that delivers killing blow after killing blow with great artistry. Well done guys. Favorite track: Day Is Done.

Sometimes I’m hoping on the edge of my seat. Others I walk while never using my feet. Sometimes I’m high; I keep up over the ground. Others my mind is an unbearable sound, howling around and I don’t know what to do. Sometimes I mumble when I don’t know the words. Others I humbly would let you speak first. We’ve got a choice amongst the shadow and still: to make a noise within the void that it fills. Together we will, together we wilt like flowers. Running around and chasing our tails (chasing it). You’re either naked or you’re innocent. Your eyes are naked when you’re living in sin. She left a hole in me when I met her. That’s another memory no one remembers. Oh no we don’t remember her.

Day Is Done 04:36
When the day is done (whether lost or won) it’s first or last but it’s surely begun. Wonder all you want before you’re almost gone & hidden in the stone you were living upon. No questions: you come undone. Brother come what may your mother goes away. Love has hell to pay underneath you must lay. As before your birth: so you will be worth. You are mother, father, brother, sister, daughter loving son. When all your time is done, I’d look up to the sun. Setting of the sun says that all is done. Clouds above are the colour of blood and they bleed light away. Coming of the night. City closed it’s eyes. The moon is bright and wipes all my bleeding away. Oh, my moon. I love you. See me soon. Know my mood.

Eden is a red row. This I know for sure: they told me at the door to come hide away just when I like. Locked inside a box of glass, they won’t tell us how to act. Feed us ’til we’re fed and dead. Or even only sleeping, that’s enough to fill our heads with lots of very pretty lights & neatly folded evenings ’til an ultraviolet rise. One for sorrow & one for the road. Did you really think that we could make it on our own? I feel hollow with nowhere to go. Sometimes I think tomorrow never makes it here at all. It’s empty in the master’s hand so people run in circles just to keep some kind of plan. Like a key leads to an empty room, so the sound of this suburban round is out of tune. It’s ringing in my Christian ears & singing praise a heaven that could only raise the fear to strike it in a devil’s heart. I guess that makes us heavenless if heaven bound is where we rest. Eden is a red row. Needless numbers on a road. Even this has got to go.

Hell To Pay 06:50
No rhyme or reason in my day today. The change in seasons’ got me blown away. I hold a picture of a perfect state but can’t alleviate the shifting shapes. I catch you talking to me here some place. I’m talking back as if from outer space. As you turn and look the other way do you even hear a word I say? I want to let you in, I want to get a grip, I want to get me out. You want a lesson how to live your life? You better beckon back the shit you hide. Count your blessings, pay the debt you owe; only you could pave your streets with gold. I want to let you know. I want to let you go. Got to get me out. All of my love has gone away. Darling I’ve got hell to pay. I love you anyway.
5.
In My Head 02:19
In my head there’s no resting place. Hide behind my face. Cry my eyes out. Try to rise up. Lying so much. All I want. Be someone (someone like you). Need your love. Cannot get enough. Watch you strut your stuff. Feet on the ground. Treasure the sound. In love with you now. Like a tree. Plant a seed (plant it on you). Watch you grow. Tall & towards the sun. Fallen far from home. I’ll cut you down. No one around. Bound to get loud. No one is secretive (no one like you).
6.
Take! Take all you want: all you’ve got and what you’ve done. Done! You’ll be done: driven out and overrun. Run! Overdone: hollowed out by everyone. One! Lonely one: cold even under the sun. Time! Time passed you by. Grasp the nature of your mind & what you find: never opened up your eyes. Blind! Lack of sight: no one left to hear your plight. I hear you cry, open mine and watch you die. Mind my stubborn sense. Ignorance is heaven-sent (or so you said). Filled my head with fear and dread: that’s what you did. Cite the price of innocence: that’s what we spend now until the bitter end.
7.
Been walking for so long my feet are getting worn & talking for so long that my tongue gets torn. All the tales that I have spawned. The unveiling of the dawn & it is warm. Heavy in my lonely tread (long forgotten road). Steady in my holy dread (one begotten soul). Oh, the seeds with which you sow. You believe & then you know: You come & go. Tell me how far you’ve come and where you’ve been before. Seldom with what we’ve done to know what’s in store. As you open up the door only know that there is more than before. Yeah, man, I’m stretched so thin. Oh, God, I feel so rough but when the going gets easy that’s when you’re giving up. Man, I felt so high & now I’m all down low, I wonder how long now until I lose my soul. When I wake each day I see that same old face. I speak words away but a gaze remains. When I wake each day I see that same old head. Who’s that man who laid me to bed? Who’s that man? Dude, get away here, fast! Honey, when you catch my eye, tell me what do you see in it? Do you see some light or is it only darkness? Man, I nearly lost my mind & then it bounced back in when I found out here I couldn’t ever quit. I can count my years but they don’t count for “shhh”.

Woodsmoke 04:39
Eyelids heavy as we sung & the woodsmoke got so heavy in my lungs. Embers high over the moors and the pale blue moon danced across the floor (some more). The darkness would strip away the cold while the wind howls a sound of old. All my company is older than the years that we’re sitting warm here with summer on our heels. Do you know my name in the cold? Do you know my name that you called? Light a fire with the sound of home. A river runs deep right through my soul. We’re growing up strong to take ahold of the days past gone & the stories they told.

Wølf 05:35
I’ve got to get rid of this reason. I found it another time. Cus, here it feels I’ve just been sleeping & wound up walking blind. Our conversation’s got a milder meaning. Sleepwalk through the night about an urban wasteland, dreaming, wasting what we find. I‘ve seen the pain: a worn out ripple over what may lie. I feel insane the more it’s pouring down over my eyes. I really meant to sleep it off. So many men they can’t keep watch & I am one. Everyone is begging to give. There’s a certain stone that I step on, walking my way home. It’s getting worn from all the lessons I have learnt & then unknown. The reason I forget to call home is cus I’m alone...
